NitroPhone 4 combines security, privacy and ease of use with modern hardware.
Long-term software updates until 2030 guarantee durability and a low one-time price.
NitroPhone 4 is powered by high-quality Pixel 8 hardware and GrapheneOS, the most advanced Android system for professionals.
Get full control over your smartphone without Google or Apple.
Novelty:
- software updates for up to 7 years
- improved protection against remote exploitation through hardware memory marking
Optional:
- Removed microphones, sensors and cameras make eavesdropping on the surroundings physically impossible.
Phone calls can be made using the optional headset.
Physical protection against tampering
- Titan M2's strong encryption and security chip protects your device and data from sophisticated physical attacks.
- Verified boot ensures that the operating system has not been modified.
- Automatic kill switch: automatic shutdown after inactivity for a configured period of time.
- PIN chip encryption with privacy screen (not included) allows you to enter your PIN publicly without being observed.
Option: integrated fingerprint sensor.
NitroPhone comes in a sealed box.
Protection against Spyware and Zero-Day Exploits
- Hardened Android 14 to meet high security requirements (e.g. hardware memory tagging, hardened stock apps, libc, malloc, compiler toolkit, kernel, filesystem access, WebView).
- All apps run in sandbox mode to protect them from exploitable and malicious apps.
- Enhanced browser, WebView and PDF viewer.
- Lightning-fast distribution of security updates until 2030.
- Wireless exploit protection by isolating the baseband radio processor using IOMMU and optional LTE-only mode to significantly reduce the radio attack surface on the cellular network.
Optional:
For very high security requirements, all microphones and acceleration and rotation sensors can be removed.
This is because the acceleration and rotation sensors can be used as microphones.
This makes it physically impossible to record conversations in the environment.
Phone calls can still be made using an external headset.
Privacy Protection: No Tracking, No Google
- No integration with cloud or Google Play services by default.
- If necessary, original Google Play Services can be installed as sandboxed applications without special permissions. This novel approach provides significantly better compatibility than incomplete reimplementations such as microG, while providing greater security.
Tracking Protection:
- Apps do not have access to the device's IMEI and serial number, SIM card serial number, subscriber ID, MAC address, etc.
- MAC address randomization per connection prevents tracking by nearby Wi-Fi scanners.
- Firewall: detailed network and sensor permissions (e.g. GPS) switchable for each application.
- Default active camera, microphone and location indicators.
Easy operation for everyone
- No bloatware.
- Minimally secure system with few applications by default.
- Additional applications can be installed manually, updates must be confirmed.
- End-to-end encrypted automatic backups to a USB drive or any cloud (e.g. Nextcloud).
Open source and validation
- Open source allows backdoor checking.
- Remote validation: hardware verification of the authenticity and integrity of the phone's software.
Secure communication
For secure messaging, voice and video calls, enjoy free, end-to-end encrypted and privacy-friendly
- Signal
- NitroChat
- Alternatively, your own Matrix server
MDM solution tailored to the needs of enterprises
To manage more devices and enforce policies and configurations on them, open source MDM is available. Organizations can maintain them themselves or obtain them as part of a service.
