Description
Delock USB Data Blocker
The Delock USB Data Blocker is a compact adapter that protects your device against unauthorized data transfer when using the USB charging port. The adapter disconnects the data lines, allowing the connected device to receive power while preventing the computer, charger, device, or other host device from accessing its data.
The Delock 60689 model is designed for devices with USB Type-C and supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 (USB PD 3.1) with a charging power of up to 240 W. This means it can not only be used with smartphones and tablets, but also with devices that require significantly higher power consumption, as long as the charger, cable, and device support the corresponding USB PD parameters.
The adapter works via hardware – the data transfer is blocked by a physical disconnection of the data lines. It does not require the installation of drivers or additional software.

Software required for operation
No software installation required.
No driver required.
No operating system configuration required.
It works independently of the operating system, as the data transmission is blocked by hardware through the disconnection of the data lines.
The adapter is placed between the USB port of the power source and the cable or device to be charged.
Advantages
Hardware data transmission cutoff – security is independent of operating system or application settings.
Protection when using unknown USB ports – the computer or other host device cannot access the data on the connected device.
No driver or software installation required.
Easy to use – the adapter works after physical connection.
The 60689's ultra-compact dimensions – approximately 16 x 11 x 6 mm.
USB Power Delivery 3.1 up to 240 W in the 60689 also allows it to be used with devices requiring high charging power.
Various connector options – USB-C to USB-C, USB-C to USB-A, and USB-A to USB-A are available.
The physical separation of data and power functions reduces the risk of unwanted USB communication when charging devices from untrusted sources.
Platform-independent – the locking mechanism resides in the adapter, not the operating system.
