The AI Camera 2.0 is an all-in-one device. It handles data processing, model training, and deployment internally. Unlike a standard webcam, it integrates directly with robotic hardware such as the mBot2 to control motors and sensors, providing a complete solution – from observation to action.
The camera is designed for beginners. You can get started immediately using the 9 built-in functions with Makeblock’s block-based software, with no coding required.
The platform is designed for hands-on learning. Students can easily collect data, train the camera to recognize new objects, and then instantly deploy their custom model. (The training function is applicable only to object recognition.)
The AI Camera 2.0 comes with 9 pre-loaded project cases, a quick-start guide, and a curriculum aligned with NGSS and CSTA standards to support educators in the classroom.
The camera seamlessly integrates with the entire Makeblock Education ecosystem, including mBot2 and any mBuild module. It also features standard I2C and serial ports for connecting third-party hardware such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
