According to Anthropic, Claude Sonnet 5 is the most “agentic” model in the Sonnet line. This means it is better at planning actions, completing multi-step tasks, using tools such as browsers or terminals, and independently carrying work through to completion. Until August 31, 2026, a promotional API price applies: USD 2 per million input tokens and USD 10 per million output tokens. After that date, the standard price is expected to be USD 3 per million input tokens and USD 15 per million output tokens.
